| Extras: | This is a very busy area in summer with much boat traffic. It is best sailed on windier days when boats are not out. Management at Mickey Rats/Captain Kidds has not been very hospitable in recent years. Better choice is South Shore Inn. Bars have rock bands and are very popular. | |

NYS Thruway to exit 57A, Eden and Angola. Turn right onto Eden-Evans Center Rd west. Proceed to Rt 5, turn left onto Rt 5 west. Proceed about 2 1/4 miles. Turn right onto Kennedy Ave. Follow Kennedy Ave to the lake. Beach is straight ahead. | |
